Einstein's Theory of Verbal Relativity

Philosophy & ReflectionBooks & Reading

Albert Einstein's observations on people were as profound as his knowledge of the universe. His wisdom stands tall and timeless, thanks to his trusted weapon of humour that drove his point home amid paroxysms of laughter.

Consider this 24 carat quote, which is in fact his special theory of relativity: E = mc² (m for mouth, c for confidence, e stays the same)

"Wenn die Menschen nur das reden würden, was sie verstehen, dann würde es sehr still auf der Welt sein."

"If people only talked about things they understood, it would be very quiet in the world."

If people actually take the witty counsel seriously, the world will become a more quieter, and hence happier, place, but now with Gen AI at their beck and call, the 'noise' from the 'experts' will only get louder from here.

And we don't have the great man in our midst to help us laugh the tragedy off. No laughing matter that!
